I feel there is a powerful force one that directs us softly or forcefuly as the need may be. We just have to open our selfs up to it and be like little children as Christ said. We will know in the right time and place what will come for our lasting good we all will.

Waiting on Jehovah
by Puternut inthere were so many times, when things didn't seem right in the organization or congregation, or when things weren't understood, you were informed : "just wait on jehovah, or in time jehovah will make it right".
my question becomes obscured with the fact that if in fact the elders are appointed by holy spirit, he would also direct them to make the right decisions in behalf of his congregation right?.
but if one of the elders felt he would be directed by god, and did things in behalf of his congregation, why would he be called on the carpet?

Simply put your not dealing with Gods select group, cause as you stated if you were, God would direct his faithful Elders. I was also raised a witness I am fifty and it came to me as a slap to my heart to know that the witness's are just one more religion nothing more. God does not favor them more than anyone else. My daughter was abused, they told me to do nothing I told them to eat shit. I refuse to be absorbed and follow Landru anymore!

Why does God allow people to develop 'forbidden' special powers?
by SM62 insomething i have been wondering about lately.. whether you believe in god or not, are a christian or some other religion or no religion at all, i'd be interested in your opinion.. according to those who believe in the bible including most christians, god condemns the use of 'special' powers/abilities.
for example, esp, tarot, astrology, consulting a medium, spells etc.
however, if god created us, did he not give us the ability to develop and use such powers?

I remeber seeing this four year old boy leaning out as he is beinng carried to the back to the people in their seats yelling "Jehovah help me please!

Yeah, I also spanked the living hell out of mine. I was young, and I married to a women who had a cute little girl and she would not take care of her it seemed but only at the meetings. I regret it a lot cause now I am divorced from that bitch and see the folly of my ways at doing what that bitchy women told me to do, rather than follow my own good sense.
